PLEASE GOD
John 8:29 I do always those things that please him – Be a Father pleaser
1 John 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him because we keep his commandments – Be a Father pleaser
Hebrews 11:5 He had this testimony that he pleased God – be a Father pleaser
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him – be a Father pleaser
Galatians 2:20 I live by the faith of the Son of God
Romans 10:8 The Word is nigh me, even in my mouth and in my heart… the Word of faith
Romans 10:17 Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God

PRAISE THE LORD
Psalm 34:1 His praise shall continually be in my mouth
Do you feel the joy of the Lord in your soul? Praise the Lord!
Do you feel blank inside, or even worse, do you feel depressed? Praise the Lord anyhow !
It is “the sacrifice of praise to God continually” you are commanded to offer. (Hebrews 13:15)
Are all your children saved? Praise the Lord!
Are some still wandering in sin? Praise the Lord anyhow!
God promises by your believing, all your house will be saved. (Acts 16:31)
Are your bills paid up-to-date? Praise the Lord!
Are you plagued by financial problems? Praise the Lord anyhow!
God promises to supply all your needs. (Philippians 4:19)
Are you enjoying good health? Praise the Lord!
Are you having health problems? Praise the Lord anyhow!
Healing is received by faith, and praise is the language of faith. (Matthew 8:13)
Is the weather good and to your liking? Praise the Lord!
Is the weather unpleasant? Praise the Lord anyhow!
“This is the day the Lord hath made: we will rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24)
Do you have true friends who encourage you in time of testing? Praise the Lord!
Are you experiencing “People problems” from those around you? Praise the Lord anyhow!
You have the opportunity to learn about these children of God. (Joshua 24:15)
RESIST THE DEVIL
Devil: “Personified spirit of evil. Superhuman, malignant being, person of monstrous cruelty and wickedness” (Oxford dictionary)
God: “Superhuman being worshipped as having power over nature and human fortunes. Adored. Admired” (Oxford dictionary)
James 4:7 “Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”
Here is how you can resist the devil daily:
1 Detect the devil’s devices
2 Disagree with the devil by agreeing with God
3 Declare the name of Jesus
4 Discourse daily to yourself and others using the Word of God appropriately
