All children need healthy TIME, AFFECTION, and ATTENTION. (TAA)
Any dearth thereof disadvantages a growing child. Some people suffer from the scarcity and deficiency during childhood right through their adulthood. They seek compensation still for their deprivation during their early stages of development.
Abuse: Can be active (commission) or passive (omission), or both.

How did I feel about myself as a child? Teenager? Young adult?
How did I feel about myself as a young married? Longer married?
How do I feel about myself now?
What kind of friend am I to myself?
Would I pick me as my best friend? Why? Why not?
Have I acknowledged: “I have to have a good relationship with myself in order to have a good relationship with others”?
6 Food:
How do I feel about food?
What was “food” about when I was a child?
What was my relationship with food when I was a teenager?
How did I feel about food as a young adult? As an adult?
When, and in what ways, has my relationship with food changed?
Has food become more/less important to me in my life?
Am I addicted to food? If so, what do I think it ‘does’ for me?
7 My body:
How did I feel about my body as a child?
What was I told about my body as a child?
How did others feel about my gender?
What kind of sex education did I receive?
How do I feel about my body now?
How comfortable am I in my body of now?
8 God:
What was I taught about God as a child?
How do I feel about God now?
What is my relationship with God at present?
How much do I permit Him to be a part of me and my life?
Recall your experiences. Write them down. Grieve what needs grieving.
You used to be at the mercy of others in your life – now you are not. Move on.

Homework Module 2b:
Cut down on unhealthy fats.
Notice sugars – cut down.
No second helpings.
Remember and use “Nothank you” and “Yes please”
Affirmations.
Exercise. Walk 10 minutes a day.
Pray for yourself and your group members.
